PARK MERINO STUD 2011 RAM AUCTION.
A BIG return cliental again cleared all 89 rams at the Evans
families annual Tara Park Merino ram sale at Boorowa on Monday
to average $1740.
It was that strong return buying support that cemented the total
clearance with 15 of the 25 actual buyers taking home three or
more rams and happy to pay good money for them.

TARA PARK MERINO STUD 2010 RAM AUCTION.
Tara Park had a strong sale, selling 87 out of 90 lots.
The average price was $1528.
Lot No 6 was the $8,000 Top Priced Ram, purchased by Pleasant View Pastoral Co., BINDA

TARA PARK MERINO STUD 2009 RAM AUCTION.
The top-priced ram by TP4202 was snapped up by Monaro stud breeders, Ray & James Barron, Adina Merino Stud and Simon King, Avonside Merino Stud, both of Cooma for $7500. The ram tested 17.72 micron, with a 3.66 SD and 99.6 CF.
Lot No 1 also by TP4202 was purchased by Robert Harding Glendonald Merino Stud, Nhill , Victoria and the Davies Family, Walgrove Merino Stud, Hay for $3800.
Ten Stud breeders were operating in the sale with seven successful in securing a stud sire.
There were a large number of buyers in attendance from across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania , with 83 of the 90 rams offered averaging $1473.

Here are the two top priced rams ($4000 each) purchased by
Andrew & Patrick Davis, Demondrille Merino Stud, Harden and Jack Whitechurch, Wendouree Merino Stud, Bimbi via Grenfell.
The average price for the sale was $1385.

Here is the top priced ram - purchased by Scott Halls of Woolmere Merino Stud, Currawong Pastoral Co., Grenfell. He paid $2600 for lot no. 4 which was sired by TP1174. The average price for the sale was $1034.

Tara Park Merino Studs Field Day & 10th Annual Stud Ewe Sale Tara Park Merino Stud Boorowa had an outstanding on property ram auction on Monday 25 th September, selling 84 from 86 offered with a top of $6,000 and an average of $1372. Dungaree Pastoral Co. Bibbenluke were keen to purchase the top priced ram, the large framed ram by TP8025, with a micron of 17.8, was exactly what they needed to further enhance their flock. Repeat buyers from Vic. and NSW were quick to secure top sires with Steve Smith, Euroa Vic. buying 8 for an average of $1438, Stonehaven Past. Penshurst Vic. 6 for an average of $1975, MF & HL Russell, Caramut Vic. Purchasing 8 for an average of $1150. Neil Mattiske, Forbes was very pleased with the 9 rams he took home. Local buyers included WL Mason & Son, Perebo Bros., PC McGrath & Son, Rag Ag Partnership, TR & SM McGrath & Derneveagh Past. Co. from Harden purchased 3 for an average $2800. The Evans family were very pleased with the result, showing clients still have confidence in the merino industry despite the current tough conditions.
